AGM Abogados attends Lawrope’s annual Congress.

The past 11th and 12th of October, AGM Abogados participated in Lawrope’s annual congress, which took place in Mexico. Lawrope is a legal group formed by law firms from all over the world with the objective of providing its clients global advice locally. The network of lawyers has a presence both in Europe and in Latin America, as well as in the United States.
Lawrope members meet every year at this annual event where they can share ideas and knowledge and strengthen ties. This year Julio Menchaca, M&A area lawyer, Francisco Lacasa, associate in the M&A area and Julio Rocafull, associate in the Commercial area at our Madrid headquarters, were present, on behalf of AGM Abogados.
The topic of the congress revolved around business and LegalTech. Participants were able to attend conferences by lawyers from various firms. AGM Abogados participated with a presentation on “LegalTech, an overview and what to expect”, given by Julio Menchaca.
During the rest of the event the attendees were able to discuss the next steps of the organization with its president, Ricardo Gonçalves, associate at Ricardo Gonçalves Advogados, who has maintained the Lawrope’s presidency since last year.
AGM members had the opportunity during the trip to visit the Mexican Senate and meet with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, thanks to Gonzalo Arrangoiz, of Arrangoiz & Asociados, this year’s host member.
