AGM Abogados celebrated the official inauguration of its new office in Mexico City, marking a strategic milestone in its internationalisation process. This new headquarters strengthens the firm’s presence in Latin America and consolidates its role as a legal bridge between Europe and the region
The event took place on September 23, 2025 at the emblematic Hacienda De Los Morales and brought around 50 attendees together, including businesspeople, institutional representatives, collaborators, and friends of the firm. The day featured speeches by three of AGM Abogados’ partners who were present at the event and concluded with a networking coffee.
In the opening remarks, Jordi Rovira, CEO of AGM Abogados, reviewed the firm’s history since its founding in Barcelona in 1986, highlighting its growth with offices in Madrid and now Mexico City, as well as the creation of its three International Desks: the French Desk, the Asian Desk, and the Latam Desk.
In the second speech, Julio Rocafull, M&A Partner and Co-Director of AGM’s Madrid office, presented the Latam Desk, created in 2021 to provide specialised legal advice to Latin American companies and individuals seeking to establish or expand in Spain, and vice versa.
Finally, Julio Menchaca Partner at the new Mexico office, based in Mexico City, explained the purpose of the new headquarters as a legal bridge between Europe and Latin America. He emphasised that the Mexico City office will serve as the headquarters of the Latam Desk, reinforcing AGM’s role as a strategic ally for entrepreneurs, investors, and institutions in their internationalisation processes.
The opening of the Mexico office represents a decisive step in AGM Abogados’ global expansion strategy, reaffirming its commitment to excellence, proximity, and social responsibility.
