The newspaper Expansión has published its traditional annual ranking of the legal sector, with an analysis of the turnover, the evolution of the staff and the turnover per professional of the most important law firms in Spain. AGM Abogados maintains its turnover with a slight increase and is in 28th position in the ranking of turnover of national law firms.
A year clearly marked by the pandemic
After the first year of Covid-19, the figures show that the legal sector was also affected by the crisis generated by the pandemic. After a very positive few years for the sector with double-digit growth, 2019 saw only a slight increase in overall turnover of 1.9%.
AGM followed this trend, slowing the pace of growth it had been leading in recent years, but managing to increase its turnover by 1.5% from €8.1m in 2019 to €8.2m in 2020. It has been a difficult year, but thanks to the team’s performance it has managed to maintain turnover and continue to occupy a relevant position in the Expansión rankings.
